>Why do you need these programs?
>All the time you're surfing the internet, your computer is becoming bloated with temporary files, cookies, and leftover traces.
Um, hate to break it to you, but you don't really need to download a program to delete files. Just open the directory that they're in, send them to the recycle bin, empty it, and you're done. Heck in some cases you don't even have to do that. For instance you can delete your cache and cookies in your browser. Go here: http://kb.iu.edu/data/ahic.html and follow the instructions for your browser. No possibly infected software necessary.
>All the time your computer is on, your disk & registry is becoming fragmented.
Start, Accessories, System Tools, Disk Defragmenter. Is it really that hard. OK if you don't have Windows the path to the defragmenter is different. But still.
